So I've been using coconut oil for about 2-1/2 weeks now...

& I absolutely love it!

Just as a moisturizer alone it's fantastic. Now remember, it's oil...so you don't need a lot, but even with that being said, it's not heavy nor does it stay oily feeling on your skin. & to top it all of, I definitely feel like my skin is WAY more dewy & has that ever desirable glow, but not in a icky I feel "gloppy" way! (is that even a word?!)

I have combination skin, and I can tell you, the dry sections of my face are moisturized & the oily sections are stabilized. I also feel like some of the fine lines I have are not so prominent. I'm not saying that coconut oil is getting rid of them per-say (maybe it is?!), but rather that because my skin is so moisturized my makeup sits much better on my skin.

& even more than all that, it doesn't make me breakout! Hallelujah!

So, if you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favor & give it a shot.

Anyways, something new I'm excited to try...via pinterest of course...is:

(no poo = no shamPOO)

Now I'm not one of those crazy-never-use-store-bought-stuff-because-they-give-you-cancer type of people, or even someone who wants to use every au-naturel & no offense if that's you.  ;)

However, I am always up for the idea of using something non-chemical, with no additives, that's naturally derived & good for you. I mean why not if it's such an easy & inexpensive option?! So I'm going for it, as soon as I use up all my Aveda shampoo that is! (See I told you I wasn't crazy!)

So, we'll see how it goes!!
